Hi! Hola! 안녕!

¡Hola from Roanoke! 🇪🇨 Born and raised under the sunny skies of Ecuador to Korean 🇰🇷 parents, my life has been a whirlwind of cultural fusion (sometimes confusing 😂). After high school, my quest for knowledge led me on an adventure – from the historic streets of Boston to the vibrant landscapes of Ecuador and the buzzing metropolis of Korea.
I've worn many hats along the way: translator, teacher, and most recently, I've earned my stripes in Front-end Development. But life is a dynamic masterpiece, and after the pandemic threw us a curveball, my husband and I decided to trade the Korean city lights for the American dream.
Our journey became a nomadic escapade, from the steel alleys of Pittsburgh, PA, to the charming shores of Charleston, SC, until we found our sweet spot in Roanoke, VA. It's been a wild ride, but we've finally planted our roots.
I love to run 🏃🏻‍♀️, hike 🚶🏻‍♀️, and kayak 🚣🏻‍♀️ – because, let's be real, everything outdoors is just plain awesome!
Oh, and did I mention my secret superpower? Crocheting! All those cozy creations are a mishmash of my life's adventures and a sprinkle of love from incredible Etsy designers. Muchas gracias to them for giving us the ability to create such wonderful designs!

"And for all you curious minds wondering about the mystery behind 'Ishilbi,' well, wonder no more! It's my Korean name – the essence of my identity, written as 이슬비. Ishilbi translates to none other than Lee 이 Silvi 슬비! 🎉

In Korean, it carries the poetic meaning of rain or drizzle. It's not just a name; it's a reflection of the gentle beauty that rain brings. A name I proudly carry and love to share with everyone."
